Why You Should Watch
At around eight months or so, babies start developing longer memories. This video shows you how to recognize the signs that your child’s memory is getting deeper and more conscious. This could manifest itself when your child gets excited when you dress him or her in certain clothes, or it could be much subtler. You’ll also learn the importance of continuing to provide new experiences for your baby to help them expand the amount of information they can take in, store and recall as memories.
What you’ll see from a baby’s eye view:
- How babies develop their memories
- How your child benefits from new experiences
- What things can trigger memory recall in a baby
What you’ll discover:
- How to recognize the signs of longer memory development
- Early childhood education activities that help develop memory
- What you can do to expand your child’s memory
Providing varied and rich experiences – within reason – is hugely beneficial to your child’s healthy development. And building early childhood education activities into your daily routine is easier than you might think.
