Why You Should Watch

As your baby learns to sit up and stay awake for longer periods of time they begin to increase their exploration of their world. Get a child’s perspective on how babies' play and exploration give them more mastery over objects outside of themselves, and get practical parenting tips for how your baby learns concepts like the nature of gravity.

What you'll see from a baby's eye view:

  • How your baby uses all their senses to explore the objects in their world
  • Why baby repeats the same action over and over and over again, and no, it’s not to annoy you
  • What sort of toys are best for babies at this stage

What you'll discover:

  • Parenting tips for choosing toys that are safe for your baby’s increasingly vigorous explorations
  • Why your baby's appetite may be increasing
  • Why it's important to remain patient with your baby

The better you understand how repetition helps your child make sense of their world, the easier it will be to remain patient when you pick baby's spoon off the floor for the umpteenth time.
