Why You Should Watch

Those first, faltering steps mark one of the major milestones in your baby's early development. That's why they are eagerly awaited by parents the world over. But learning to walk is no. . .well. . .walk in the park. It's complex and all babies learn at their own pace. Seeing the challenges your child faces while learning to walk will help you increase their confidence and feelings of security. And, eventually, they'll reach their destination on time – their time.

What you'll see from a baby's eye view:

  • How a baby learns to walk
  • How your support makes your child more secure
  • How confidence comes from encouragement

What you'll discover:

  • That there is no set timetable for when your baby learns to walk
  • How to make your child feel more confident and secure
  • Parenting tips for helping your child with their first steps

Each journey starts with just one step. When that step is the first you'll ever take, it's no wonder that all babies work to their own timetables when it comes to learning to walk. This video helps you support, rather than push, your child along the way.

furniture cruising

so excited that Tina has now learned to cruise around the room by hanging on to different bits of furniture. Very cool that she can get herself from place to place by a mixture of crawling and cruising. I'm trying to encourage her to walk by letting her push her doll stroller, which seems to kind of help.
